From Interest to Action, the Cho-Zen Way!

Our organization was founded upon: Faith, leadership, empowerment, accountability, integrity, compassion, and community.  

Cho-Zen emerged out of a pursuit to inspire and support the youth and young adults in our community. Our strength lies not only in the words we stand by, but most importantly in the actions of our initiatives. From the moment we started our work in 2021, we understood that by working with our mentees we could guide them in overcoming their challenges much more efficiently, which is why we decided to launch Cho-Zen.  

We're grateful that God has given us the perspective to see the value in everyone. Since before our beginnings, we’ve been driven by our passion to guide youth in defying the odds. We’re here to equip our mentees with the necessary skills to overcome the challenges of today's society. We plan to groom ambitious problem-solvers who bring different perspectives and aren't afraid to take risks. Becoming the driving force of positive change that many hope to see. 

Jane Woodall once said, " Every individual MATTERS. Every individual has a ROLE TO PLAY. Every individual makes a DIFFERENCE." There is power in helping someone to find their voice, allowing them to tap into the power of their individuality. But there is an even greater power in teaching them to take those individual gifts and talents and to work together as a team to be the difference in our world.
